Registration packets for all testing are available in Mrs. Daniel's and Mrs. Cockrum's offices.  The student is responsible for completing the registration form and mailing it with the required cost by the registration deadline. The High School Code for College Entrance Exams is 446-070.

ATTENTION 2007-08 -10TH GRADERS CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A PRE-AP COURSE:
You will have a special opportunity to take the THEA  test  in the late spring or early summer.if necessary to enroll in dual credit your junior year.   If you make the following scores on each of the 10th grade TAKS tests listed you are exempt from the THEA test:

                    ELA  TAKS test - 2200 and a 3 on the essay
               MATH TAKS    - 2200


   The cost and registration is the same as above ($29.00 and a picture identification)    




Tyler Junior College's Accuplacer
Accuplacer can be used in place of THEA, students must check with the school they will be attending to make sure Accuplacer is an acceptable substitute for the THEA, it is not accepted by all Texas institutions of higher education.
