Federal Funding Notification of Services: Meeting Scheduled

Title I, II, III, IV,V, VI, Perkins Vocational, IDEA-B Formula, and IDEA-B Preschool services may be available for eligible students attending private, nonprofit schools. Private, nonprofit schools interested in learning more about federal program services are invited to attend an informational and planning meeting on May 30th and June 6th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. in the Rusk ISD Board Room located at 203 East 7th Street, Rusk, TX. All parents of students served on participating Title I campuses are also invited to attend this informational and planning meeting. Rusk ISD and Truckerz Partner to Benefit Eagle Service

Rusk ISD and Truckerz are joining forces to help raise money for Eagle Service.


Rusk ISD and Truckerz are joining forces to help raise money for Eagle Service.

Truckerz will donate $1.00 to Rusk ISD for every pizza box proof of purchase presented to Truckerz from the Campus Principal at any Rusk ISD Campus every month. Just clip the Proof of Purchase from your pizza box and turn it in to any campus Principal.

Eagle Service is a community outreach program designed to provide Rusk ISD students the opportunity to participate in service projects throughout their community. Its goal is to enhance the characteristics of servitude and self-sacrifice in all of our students. For more information on Eagle Service projects, contact Mr. Scott Schwartz at Rusk High School.

Accessing 2018 STAAR Results Online

2018 STAAR Scores Released

2018 STAAR test results have been released for Grades 3-8 and End of Course. We will mail results home as soon as we receive the STAAR Student Reports Cards. If you would like to see your student's test results before then, you can access the scores online through the Student Portal at www.texasassessment.com.

Below is a link to a flyer showing how to use the Student Portal to access the scores and a link with directions for how to access your students Unique STAAR Access Code through your Skyward Family Access. The Unique STAAR Access Code, along with your child's date of birth, will be needed to view the scores in the Student Portal.
