🦅 Eagle Day at RES! 🦅 Our students had an unforgettable experience during Eagle Day, where they got to interact with RHS students in a special mentorship opportunity! Through hands-on activities and guidance from our high school Eagles, our young learners discovered what it truly takes to be an Eagle...leadership, teamwork, and school spirit. ❤️A huge thank you to our RHS mentors for inspiring the next generation of Eagles!
Eagle Day was truly a unique and unforgettable experience for our students! 🎉 It’s the kind of phenomenal event that can only happen because of the dedicated, big-hearted, fun-loving, energetic, and detail-oriented people who make up our school family. Today our GT students traveled to Lufkin to visit the Museum of East Texas, where they explored an award-winning LEGO exhibit and were guided by the builder himself. This opportunity gave students the perfect chance to explore LEGO craftsmanship before beginning their upcoming unit of study on LEGO Robotics. The exhibit will be on display until October 19 and would be a perfect family outing if you’re looking for a fun and educational experience!

📌PSA: Below is the pricing for items that will be sold at the PTO concession stand! Parents/Guardians, please send money with your child on Thursday {October 2nd}, as they will be the ones to get to stock up at the concession stand!
📌 Students will not be able to leave from the event with parents. We encourage all parents to make transportation changes, if at all possible, before 1:15 on Thursday to avoid any miscommunication as students return from the event.

🏈 Rusk ISD Football Game Expectations 🏈
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please help us by reviewing these expectations with your children:
✅ Students should remain in the stands during the game unless visiting the concession stand or restroom.
✅ No running, horseplay, or ball-playing in concession area.
✅ Respectful behavior is expected at all times towards peers, staff, officials, and guests.
✅ Students should follow directions from school personnel and security immediately.
Parents, please make sure your children understand these rules before arriving. Multiple district administrators will be on duty tonight to help ensure a safe and positive environment.

Earlier this week, your child is brought home a Book Buddy Lanyard letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed.
The SchoolStore Program is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.
Here is all you need to do to participate:

2. Send form emails inviting family, friends and co-workers to support your child.
3. Return the Book Buddy Lanyard with the Student Prize Code to school for your child to get their fun participation prize.
