It’s time to get creative and give back! Our Dress the Turkey Contest is coming soon, and it’s not just about fun—it’s a fundraiser and service project to support an RES student or family in need. 🧡
🎉 Congratulations to this amazing student who was selected as last week's PE Captain of the Week! Your hard work, teamwork, and positive attitude earned him this recognition!
Each week students chosen are awarded a special wristband in their house color as a token of achievement. They wear them proudly!
🌟What an inspiring experience at The National Literacy Professional Development Consortium conference! We kicked off the trip with a fun, western-themed Meet & Greet on Friday night—cowboy hats, boots, and all--creating a perfect setting to connect with fellow educators from across the nation and give them a Texas-sized welcome! Then, we rolled into a high-energy Saturday filled with impactful sessions. The dynamic Ron Clark and the amazing Principal Kalefe set the tone as keynote speakers, leaving us all motivated to take our practices to the next level! 🔥 Their energy, wisdom, and actionable strategies were truly transformative!
Thank you Rusk ISD for this professional development opportunity! It’s moments like these that reignite our passion for education and remind us of the impact we have on our students’ lives. We also enjoyed connecting with teachers from other campuses! We're so excited to bring back these powerful insights to our RES community!❤️
