🏈✨ Eagle Family Reminder ✨🏈
We love seeing our students at Thursday and Friday night home football games cheering on the Eagles! To keep everyone safe and ensure an enjoyable experience:
✅ Students should remain in the stands to watch the game.
✅ No running, horseplay, or games (football, wallball, tag, etc..) on stadium grounds.
✅ Please remember to show good sportsmanship and respect for others.
✅ Younger students should be accompanied by an adult.

Let’s support our Eagles with pride, positivity, and school spirit!

At Rusk Elementary, we are proud to celebrate two incredible organizations that continue to make a lasting impact on our district: the Rusk High School Alumni Association and the Rusk Education Foundation. 🦅 The Rusk High School Alumni Association works to keep the Eagle spirit alive long after graduation by connecting alumni, honoring tradition, and supporting current students through scholarships and mentorship. 🦅 The Rusk Education Foundation is dedicated to enriching learning opportunities for our students by funding innovative classroom projects, supporting teachers, and ensuring that every child has access to tools that inspire success. Together, these organizations embody the heart of Rusk honoring our past while investing in our future. ❤️ We encourage you to support these organizations and follow them on social media to stay connected and help make a difference!

🎉We are proud to celebrate our students and staff for their hard work and dedication that earned Rusk Elementary a “B” rating! The Texas Education Agency rates schools on more than just test scores. A campus rating looks at Student Achievement, Student Progress, and Closing the Gaps.
Did you know that one of the biggest ways parents can help our school rating has nothing to do with test scores… it’s attendance!
✅ Every day counts.
✅ Every student counts.
✅ Attendance = Achievement.
When students are in school, they learn, grow, and show progress—which directly impacts how our campus is scored. The easiest way to help our school succeed is to make sure your child is here, on time, every day (unless they’re truly sick). Together, we can make a BIG difference!

Car Line Reminders:
All students must be dropped off and picked up through the carline. Please do not bypass the line to park and allow your student to walk up from the road.

Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we begin the new school year. Our priority is student safety, and we’ve found that when everyone follows the procedures, the carline works smoothly, allowing all parents to drop off and pick up their children safely and efficiently.

Thank you for helping us keep every child safe!
