🤘Today we turned up the volume on learning—Rock Your School Day was rocking!

Earlier this week, your child is brought home a Book Buddy Lanyard letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed.

The SchoolStore Program is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.

Here is all you need to do to participate:
1. Go to https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?0000080025 to sign up.
2. Send form emails inviting family, friends and co-workers to support your child.
3. Return the Book Buddy Lanyard with the Student Prize Code to school for your child to get their fun participation prize.

Be sure to ask your child for the Book Buddy Lanyard. Your participation will make a difference for our school and teachers!

🎉 The Rusk Education Foundation has awarded RES Counselor, Mrs. Cahalane and 2nd grader, Miss Aubrey as Exceptional Eagles! 🦅✨ What an incredible honor and a well-deserved recognition of their dedication, spirit, and character. We are so proud of them for representing RES with excellence! ❤️

📚 “My child doesn’t enjoy reading…” You’re not alone—many parents share this concern! Before giving up on books, try these four simple shifts. Small changes like choosing fun topics, reading together, or listening to audiobooks can make a big difference. Reading should feel enjoyable, not stressful.

It is once again time to "Stock the Stock Trailer" in the RISD annual food drive. This year’s competition will be against Canton. The Food Drive will start this coming Monday the 22nd and go through 9 a.m. on Thursday the 25th. All food items collected will be donated to our local food pantries run by The Good Samaritan and Packs of Love.

Also, the Elementary will be competing against G.W. Bradford Primary School to see who can collect the most canned goods! Let's go, RES!

🍦Sweet News, RES!🍦 Ice cream sales begin this Thursday and will be available each week for just $1. To avoid the stress of forgetting money, parents can easily add funds to their child’s account through Skyward Family Access: 1️⃣ Log in to Skyward Family Access. 2️⃣ Select your child’s name. 3️⃣ Click Food Service. 4️⃣ Choose Make a Payment and follow the steps to add funds. This way, your child is always ready to enjoy a sweet treat!
