RES Fun in the Sun Color Run Friday, May 16, 2025 @ Rusk Elementary School Two Fun-Filled Events: *Student Only Color Run Event 9AM $10 to participate and concession will be available for an additional cost. Students may fundraise to be eligible for prizes opportunities. *Community Color Run & Summer Kick Off 6-8PM This lively fun run is for all ages! The Community Event will be $10 a family at the gate and includes Color Run and access to all carnival-style stations. Food and concession will be available for an additional cost. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go back to Rusk Elementary School, so your support helps our students too! Let’s pack the place and show our RES pride!

End-of-Year MAP Testing in Progress this week at RES! Our students are focused and giving it their all as we knock out MAP testing and wrap up the year strong. Finishing the hard work now so we can start the countdown to FUN in the coming weeks!

Lunch, Literacy, and Lots of Fun in the Library! ❤️ Our students enjoyed a special treat—eating lunch in the library and reading aloud to their classmates! They redeemed their Easter Egg prizes and ticket earnings for this memorable experience. The library is truly the heart of our school—a place for learning, laughter, and a little lunchtime magic!

College T-Shirt Day at RES! Our future scholars are dreaming big and repping their favorite colleges today! We love seeing our students inspired and excited about higher education. College starts with a dream—and it begins here!
