Each day at RES, our students begin with the RES Campus Creed, a powerful reminder of the values that guide us as a school community.
We are proud of our students for living out these words and making RES a great place to learn and grow. 🌟

Don’t forget to bring your dollar and enjoy a fun Thursday treat! 😋

🌍 Happy World Kindness Day! 🌍
Today at RES, we’re celebrating the power of kindness! ❤️ Our students are learning how simple acts – a smile, a helping hand, or a kind word – can make a big difference in someone’s day.
Let’s work together to create a world where kindness is our superpower! Encourage your child to share a kind act today and tell us all about it in the comments. Let’s fill our community with positivity and compassion! 🌟

Don't forget photo retakes are tomorrow morning! 😊

🗳️Mock Election Fun at RES! 🍪
On Election Day our 3rd grade RES students participated in a sweet mock election to learn about the voting process! The candidates? Classic Chocolate Chip vs. beloved Oreo. The ballots are in, and students made their voices heard on which treat reigns supreme!
Learning about democracy has never been this delicious. Thank you to all our young voters for engaging in the process!

🇺🇸 High Five for Heroes 🇺🇸
Monday morning, our RES students kicked off the week with a heartfelt “High Five for Heroes”! Students lined up with smiles and waving flags to honor veterans, sharing gratitude and small flags as tokens of
appreciation. Mrs. Peters created a Wall of Honor in the foyer to display photos and it was a powerful way to honor the brave men and women who have served our country.
To all veterans, thank you for your courage, dedication, and sacrifice. We are grateful to have celebrated this special moment with our school community!

3rd graders are studying a unit on weather. They are learning to measure weather using a rain gauge and thermometer, as well as learning about a wind vane. They are learning about the most common types of weather we have here and we compared our KLTV forecast today with the forecast in Alaska. The students went outside to stations today to record temp and water in the rain gauges.

Second graders are exploring with magnifying glasses and binoculars this week. In science they are learning that to magnify means to make something look bigger. It is BIG fun.
