Our 3rd graders took creativity to the next level with their latest enrichment project! Inspired by "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", they wrote and illustrated their very own children’s books, following the same fun and imaginative story pattern. These young authors and illustrators blew us away with their storytelling skills!
Shoutout to our amazing 2nd graders for achieving 100% fluency in Reflex! Their hard work and dedication to mastering math facts have truly paid off. We are so proud of their growth and determination! Keep shining, little mathematicians!
Engagement was at an all-time high in 3rd grade today as students used Curipod to bring their writing to life! Day 1 at the Ron Clark Academy—WOW. Just WOW. I’m not going to lie, I definitely squealed a bit and totally geeked out getting a more intimate professional development experience with some of the most influential educators. I tried to soak it all in, but the pure amazement is difficult to put into words. The immaculate learning spaces, the singing, the dancing… the energy was next level. But the real magic? The students. Watching them live the RCA philosophy was absolutely inspiring.
Oh, and did I mention… We braved the Monster Slide and are now officially RCA Slide Certified! ✔️ I can’t even begin to anticipate all the greatness tomorrow will bring! {more detailed photos of the actual learning experience to come}
