This program is designed to inspire a love of reading in all our students and to create a community of readers. Together, we can foster a lifelong love of reading in our students. We are excited to welcome back a familiar face to our RES community! Ms. Krystal is returning to our campus this year, but in a new capacity. She will be joining us as a Special Education Paraprofessional bringing her sweet spirit, nurturing heart and dedication to our students. We are so excited to see the wonderful contributions she will bring to our school in this new capacity.

We are thrilled to introduce a fantastic addition to our teaching staff, Mrs. Bunn, who will be joining us as a 3rd Grade Teacher! With many years of experience in education, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to student success. She has a proven track record of fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Mrs. Bunn is passionate about helping students reach their full potential and is excited to become a part of our RES community. We are so excited to have her with us and look forward to the incredible impact she will have on our students.

We are delighted to introduce the newest member of our team, Ms. Whitaker, who will be joining us as a 3rd Grade Paraprofessional! She brings a passion for education and a commitment to supporting our students' growth and success. Ms. Whitaker is eager to work alongside our talented teachers to provide the best possible learning environment for our 3rd graders.

RES bids a fond farewell to our amazing Assistant Principal, Mrs. McCormack, as she retires after 24 years of service in public school. She served 4 wonderful years teaching and leading at our school. Her dedication and compassion have touched the lives of so many students, parents, and staff members. She will be greatly missed, but we are excited for her as she embarks on this new adventure and is able to spend time with her family. May her retirement be filled with joy, relaxation, and all the things she loves.

After 29 years of dedicated service, our beloved secretary, Mrs. Parsons, is retiring! Mrs. Parsons has been the heart of our school, greeting every student with a warm smile, assisting parents with unwavering patience, and supporting our staff with unmatched dedication. Her kindness, efficiency, and commitment have made a lasting impact on everyone who has walked through our doors. As we say goodbye, we want to extend our deepest gratitude for her years of hard work and dedication. She has truly made our school a better place, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all of us.
