Stay hydrated, Eagles! 💧
Our water bottle filling stations are a hit at RES. Students are refilling bottles throughout the day, making it easier to stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn. 🦅

Thank you once again to the Rusk Education Foundation!
Because of your generosity, teacher grants are being fulfilled, and our students will greatly benefit from these opportunities. We are so grateful for your continued support of our schools and classrooms!

Car Line Reminders:
All students must be dropped off and picked up through the carline. Please do not bypass the line to park and allow your student to walk up from the road.
Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we begin the new school year. Our priority is student safety, and we’ve found that when everyone follows the procedures, the carline works smoothly, allowing all parents to drop off and pick up their children safely and efficiently.
Thank you for helping us keep every child safe!

We are excited to welcome Ms. Trawick to Rusk Elementary as both a paraprofessional and student teacher! A proud Rusk alumna, she has returned home to complete her SFA coursework while learning alongside our amazing staff. She is a natural in the classroom, and we know she is well on her way to becoming a wonderful teacher very soon. Welcome back to the Eagle family, Ms. Trawick!

We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Johnson as our new paraprofessional at Rusk Elementary! She is no stranger to Rusk ISD. Many of you may recognize her from her time as a substitute teacher, and we’ve loved getting to know her as two of her children have come through our campus. With her huge heart and a smile that lights up the room, we know she will be such a blessing to our students and staff.

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Lankford as our new paraprofessional at Rusk Elementary! With many years of experience supporting students, she brings both skill and heart to our campus. Even more special, she’s a proud Rusk alumna, and we couldn’t be happier that she has chosen to return home to the Eagle family.

We love seeing our students at Thursday and Friday night home football games cheering on the Eagles! To keep everyone safe and ensure an enjoyable experience:
✅ Students should remain in the stands to watch the game.
✅ No running, horseplay, or games (football, wallball, tag, etc..) on stadium grounds.
✅ Please remember to show good sportsmanship and respect for others.
✅ Younger students should be accompanied by an adult.
Let’s support our Eagles with pride, positivity, and school spirit!

At Rusk Elementary, we are proud to celebrate two incredible organizations that continue to make a lasting impact on our district: the Rusk High School Alumni Association and the Rusk Education Foundation.
🦅 The Rusk High School Alumni Association works to keep the Eagle spirit alive long after graduation by connecting alumni, honoring tradition, and supporting current students through scholarships and mentorship.
🦅 The Rusk Education Foundation is dedicated to enriching learning opportunities for our students by funding innovative classroom projects, supporting teachers, and ensuring that every child has access to tools that inspire success.
Together, these organizations embody the heart of Rusk honoring our past while investing in our future. ❤️ We encourage you to support these organizations and follow them on social media to stay connected and help make a difference!
