The book fair is coming to RIS next week and we are SO excited! We will kick off our book fair the night of Rocktoberfest, Tuesday October 17th, and it will run until the end of the school day on Thursday, October 19th! Gift Cards are available online! These work similar to the Scholastic eWallet that you may be familiar with. Loading a gift card online will allow your student to shop at our fair without having to bring cash! Hey RIS! Next week we're helping the Rusk FFA stock the stock trailer with non perishable food items for the annual food drive! Help us collect food for those in need and defeat RJH by collecting the most cans! Winning classes from each grade with receive a popcorn party hosted by our principal, Mrs. Sitton! Come on, Eagles, let's show Rusk how we SHINE!!!

RIS had our very first Watch D.O.G.S. on campus today! Blessen’s dad, Mr. Robinson, joined in on the fun today as he attended rotation classes, worked with students in the classroom, played on the play ground, attended lunch, and monitored the hallway! Thank you, Mr. Robinson, for your involvement on our campus and for being a positive role model for our students! The kids had a blast with you today!
