At Rusk Elementary School, our classrooms are buzzing with purpose as students set meaningful goals and take ownership of their learning. From academics to personal growth, our students are learning how to dream big, track progress, and celebrate growth every step of the way.

Welcome to the Eagle Family, "Officer A"! ❤️ 🦅 Our new Rusk ISD security officer, Officer Arthur Greggory, made several visits to RES today, and we loved seeing his positive presence around campus. He put our staff at ease and our students are excited to see him and get to know him better!

Congratulations to 3rd grader SallyJo, who was awarded an Exceptional Eagle Award by the Rusk ISD Education Foundation! This recognition is a true honor, and we are incredibly proud of her. 🦅

Mr. Bayless' little elves got crafty this holiday season!

Rusk ISD will be on break from Dec 19th-January 6th. We wish all our families a safe and happy holiday break!

🎄 A fun-filled House Hoedown — Texas Christmas style! 🎄 What an incredible day giving our kids first-hand experiences with animals, a chuck wagon, bull riding, line dancing, horsemanship, and more. They even got to enjoy some Texas favorites…Blue Bell Ice Cream and Dr Pepper! A day full of learning, laughter, and Lone Star magic! Today was possible thanks to special planning by Mrs. Bowling and Mrs. Sunday, our amazing vendors and volunteers, and our RES PTO! A big shoutout as well to our supportive staff and teachers who collected waivers, guided classes, and helped students transition smoothly and safely from station to station. We are grateful for every hand that made this Texas-style House Hoedown such a success!
